Cibus Self Service Pizzeria - ALCAMO

The place is clean and a smell of tasty food hits you as you enter. This is a self service restaurant but you can leave your tray on the table after you have finished. There is a selection of cold Antipasti and a number of cooked dinners on show. The lasagne is behind the counter and needs to be asked for. The Rosemary coated roast chicken legs I had were delicious. If you have a smaller appetite you can ask for half portion. I have been twice with work and the food has been good both times. Not fancy but good.

Being Easter Saturday many of the local restaurants were closed so we were limited on choice. The staff left us at the table for 20 minutes.. the restaurant wasn’t even half full so it wasn’t due to them being busy. When we eventually got served we ordered pizza and calamari and prawn’s. The pizzas were awful as the Margarita was served with very little sauce and too much cheese. We couldn’t eat them. The fish was over fryed and tasteless. When we paid the bill the cashier rudely threw the credit card back at my husband. Would not recommend this place

A great option for the non-Italian speaker since you can choose and point to what you want. Although cheap, some of the nicest food we had in Sicily!

Incredible price quality. ideal for those who have to make a fast lunch
