The River Deck Cafe - Albury

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant tonight. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the view of the river from the outdoor deck was beautiful. Being a vegetarian, I was initially disappointed to see that the only vegetarian option on the menu was a mushroom risotto, which I cannot eat. However, our server Haisley reassured me that the chef, Ludo, could create a different vegetable risotto for me. Ludo went above and beyond my expectations by preparing a delectable zucchini, asparagus, and bean risotto right on the spot. I was appreciative of their consideration and creativity. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

We enjoyed a delightful breakfast at the River Deck. The coffee was superb, and I loved the scrambled eggs and garlic mushrooms. My husband tried the RD Hollandaise with avocado, which he also found delicious. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. We even came back later for a stroll and tried the most amazing muffin I've ever had - a Strawberry and Blood Orange one. Overall, it was a wonderful café experience.

I had a fantastic breakfast at The River Deck. The food was fantastic, the service was warm and sincere, and the view of the picturesque park and meandering Murray River was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food is always amazing, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. I also love that I can bring my puppy with me and sit outside on the deck while enjoy a great meal and coffee .

My family and I came to The River Deck for lunch yesterday and it was perfect. We are all vegan and the amount of vegan options that they had was incredible. Best smashed avocado we've ever had, hands down. It was perfect. The tofu scramble was a rare find for Albury and it was beautiful, especially with the garlic mushrooms which they were able to make vegan for us. The coffees were outstanding, it can be hard to find baristas that don't burn soy milk but this milk was perfect. What stood out the most was the incredible service from the staff, they were highly professional, friendly and accomodating even though they must have been incredibly busy. We had an amazing dining experience here and I will definitely be coming back for a smashed avo in the near future!
