Butts Gourmet Smokehouse New owners but smoked produce still the best We discovered Butt’s Smokehouse many decades ago and continue to stop and get smoked trout and other smoked delights every time we travel on the Hume Highway past Albury. If you take the City Centre exit in either direction, turn right at the traffic lights near Bunnings and a few blocks up on your right you will find Butt’s Smokehouse. In the last 18 months they have upgraded the shop so it now has a refrigerated display case with a selection of goods ranging from their renowned smoked trout to smoked lamb cutlets, smoked eel, smoked duck breast, smoked trout pate and well, many other delights, all smoked, of course. The smoked trout, for us, is the moistest and tastiest smoked trout we have ever tasted. We wouldn’t have come back constantly for thirty years if we didn’t think so. If you’re travelling, Butt’s will give you ice to wrap around your purchases or bring a chiller bag/electric car cooler. On our recent trip to Echuca, we stopped at Butt’s and discovered Butt’s has been sold to new owners. After a chat, we found the owners are still smoking the produce in the same smokehouse and they plan to expand the product range. There were very interested to discuss with long time customers like ourselves what makes us keep coming back and how they can provide the best service to customers without changing what makes Butt’s such a fabulous gourmet outlet. One of the first things is that the new owners are friendly like the original owners and that’s a good place to start.We love it and always get a supply for family, friends and ourselves. They agree that Butt’s produce is yum-o.

I normally love Muffin Break, unfortunately Muffin Break at Winston Hills was disappointing.

I thought I had hit the jackpot yesterday Not all Muffin Breaks have the Pear Honey and Walnut muffins.

What Anthony , wife and staff are doing is an excellent job of producing top quality products . Keep up the excellent work !!
