Albion Hotel - Albury

Good quite pub food was expensive for pub food. I had the red gum sirloin and being a foodie was less than impressed. For that quality the price needs to reduced by half! No wow factor disappointed when you spend top dollar for the top steak needs to be much better sorry that’s how it’s goes !

The staff at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly, with a great variety of options on the menu for both food and drinks. I highly recommend booking a reservation in advance for the rooftop, as it can get quite crowded, but it is definitely worth it.

After looking forward to dinner at the new Albion hotel we were quite disappointed. We booked upstairs and that was probably our first mistake, it was noisy, meals came from downstairs by dumb waiter and although the staff were friendly , and competent, there is a real lack of atmosphere. The meals were also disappointing, the menu was fairly small and we struggled to make choices, we started with share plates of ceviche and salt and pepper squid, the squid was ok, the ceviche very average and not great. For mains we had the honey crusted pork skip it ! and the lamb ragu on papparadelle pretty good , a nice surprise we ate with a local who had been at the Albion several times in the past and always loved it — his comment was that the food and choices had disappointed too and he would not be back. The prices were market averages, but you can do better

We had originally planned to eat at the Albury Brewhouse, but we received a recommendation to try the Albion Hotel for Sunday dinner and live music. Two Man Banned put on an incredible performance over the long weekend and the atmosphere was lively. The Albion Hotel is an excellent venue, especially the top floor which offers both indoor and outdoor dining with stunning views of Albury and the surrounding area. We opted to dine downstairs to be closer to the band and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!

Amazing atmosphere, great staff, ground floor is so good during the week with a pool table to play on after a hard days work. Rooftop amazing for all cocktail needs
