Texas Roadhouse - Albuquerque

I took my wife out for a Friday night date, but overall, I wasn't impressed. Is this a steakhouse or a sports bar? The loud music made it difficult to have a conversation. We either had to lean in, which got uncomfortable after a while, or just stay quiet. It was frustrating to have to yell just so my dinner party could hear me. The food was mediocre. My steak (as pictured) was cooked to my request, but it lacked flavor. My wife's steak was undercooked; she ordered medium rare but received it very rare. On the plus side, the waitstaff was friendly, though they were a bit slow with service, likely due to it being a Friday night. We waited an hour for a table and then another hour for our meals. Since the restaurant is new, they may not have settled into their routine yet. The rolls were fluffy and warm, and the cinnamon butter was delicious—though honestly, I expect more than just dinner rolls at a steakhouse.

Delicious food and friendly service! Although we had to wait a little longer for a table, it was understandable since the restaurant has just opened. Our server, Ana, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return!

We made our reservation using the app, and the process was seamless and efficient. The staff was energetic and attentive. The menu offered a fantastic variety of options. Our food was served exactly as we ordered and was full of flavor. Several staff members stopped by to check on our meal, which we appreciated. For a restaurant that has only been open for a month and runs this smoothly, kudos to you!

Service was great! No complaints on that but I feel the food could be a little better. I've been to other Texas Roadhouses where the bread doesn't look so dry, but it has a rather glossy finish that I did not see here, and I know steak comes out dry the more you cook it but this one was very very dry for a medium rare. I felt like I needed to add gravy to the steak to be able to incorporate some moisture. Other than that, I like the time of the service and the cheerful wait staff

We had the best waiter and food experience ever! I’ve been to this Texas Roadhouse before, but the one experience I just had today is making me write this review. His name was Bobby and it’s a shame my wife and I had plans after we ate, or else we would’ve been there all night. His hospitality to take care of us and ask consistently if we needed refills or more rolls is what the embodiment of what EVERY SINGLE TEXAS ROADHOUSE needs. I was throughly surprised by such devotion, and hard work to really give the ultimate customer service. I have absolutely no complaints. Never change
