Ambos os pratos tinham um sabor muito fresco! Pedimos lulas e cavalas grelhadas (carapaus c/ molho escabeche . Atribuir quatro estrelas porque bebidas como a água são caras (uma garrafa muito pequena custa mais de 1€ .

I will start by saying this was our experience, given the other reviews. We had seen previous reviews for the restaurant and thought we would give it a try as I wanted to have an authentic Portuguese meal. As such, seeing from the reviews that it gets busy we visited at lunchtime and on the day and asked if we could book a table for 1900, which they accepted and we asked for a specific table which was also confirmed by the lady we spoke to. So that evening imagine our disappointment when we got to the restaurant on time to find the table occupied. This we pointed out to the lady, but it seemed to us she didn 't remember speaking to us earlier in the day! She offered us another table which we accepted, however shortly after sitting down we discovered that table was rocking. we should 've acknowledge this was going to a problem! We ordered Garlic Bread,Chicken Kebab and the Cataplana. So, the Garlic Bead arrived which had clearly had not been cooked through which we left, in the end we just had Olives. Then my meal came Cataplana , for those who don 't know this comes in a big tin covered bowl. So the bowl took up most of the table so there was little space to put the other dishes on our table, and because our table was rocking and the juices started to run out of the Cataplana bowl, even though we tried to hitch up table up! They then brought my wife 's rice however they forgotten to cook the Kebab that she had ordered it with! Explaining it would take a further 30mins to cook! My rice then came, of which half of it was cold and rock so make of that what you will! . This was turning out to be a disastrous meal so we asked for the bill. The staff could clearly see neither of us were happy, however when the waitress came she said I 've knocked the cost of the rice off your bill! I 'm mean really! Anyway, there must something about this restaurant given people were prepared to queue, however my experience was a very poor one!

The food was quite fast ready and at the table. The staff was very friendly but for my liking there wasn’t enough food on the table. For that price category it’s acceptable but its leads me to rate it only 3 out of 5 stars. The food itself was quite nice and i couldn’t complain more about the food. The only other problem that occurred was that the location itself wasn’t the best. So for anyone that wants to eat quite cheap but sill good tasting food, I say go ahead but for everyone that wants to eat really good, I would advise to skip this one.

Had a couple of meals and both times they were excellent very tasty,fabulous value for your money, the servers were polite and welcoming the resturante gets very busy, it's also very clean
