One of the pleasures of travel is to return to a favorite spot and find that it is as good as ever. That just happened to me. As I entered, there was Tony, as always. So graciously he seated me at the most perfect table to enjoy the ocean and impending sunset. He also assigned Fiona to be my server. I lucked out again. She was warm and professional. The bartender was skilled and knew how to make a perfect Sazerac! Yay! The welcome plate of breads, olive oil, and house made olives are a welcoming taste. Gracious. Thoughtful. The rest of the meal proceeded in the same manner. Duck pate in a sweet little pot with all the accompaniments, a rich gnocchi, and always a fresh bread. Thank you everyone, I'll be back! We

Unexpectedly good dinner. The beef tartar is awesome. The duck pate and duck breast are incredible. Don’t miss here if you visit mondocino.
