I needed to make a quick stop for dinner on my way north. And I stumbled on this place they have such an incredible location. I got their burger and quite liked it. Service was fast too!

Oh so yummy! Food and drinks were amazing. The staff was very atitive and friendly. View was gorgeous.

Regretfully I must give this visit only 2 stars. We have been going here annually for 15+ years and in the past the food has been 5-star, but no more. Last year and even more so this year the food was subpar. I order a lamb dish which was a curry stew and it could have been pork or chicken or something else, it didn't taste like lamb (which I eat frequently). My companions meals were equally disappointing. The fish dish (Halibut) was bland and unsatisfying. The reason to go here is the location and view. It is among the best in the Mendocino area, even rivalling the Harbor House in Elk. We were able to snag a table by the windows with the beautiful Pacific Ocean views which is a plus. The drinks are creative and beautiful. They have an extensive liquor menu with an emphasis on Scotches. The wine list is also extensive, although not by the glass where there is only one label per varietal. Service was good and attentive. Unfortunately, the Albion River Inn Restaurant is falling off of our list of must visit Mendocino restaurants. Ledford House, Harbor House (2-star Michelin rated), Café Beaujolais, and even Trillium Café were better this trip around.

Ocean view. Extensive wine list, spirits and craft cocktails. Menu has a good variety of items. We especially enjoyed the local sole, chicken, pasta and Caesar salad.

Romantic dinner at our corner table, amazing Rock Cod dinner with Meyer Lemon Cheesecake for dessert. The service was wonderful. Thanks Albion River Inn for another wonderful evening.
