Usually really like this place but picked up my order tonight got home ate almost half of my sandwich and stopped bc I thought it tasted funny and I found rotten dark brown lettuce all over my sandwich spent 30 bucks on rotten food don't think I'll be coming here for a while ....

A little hole in the wall that has some of the BEST subs around. Don't let the looks fool you. This place has very tasty food great portions for the price. Love getting take out at Penny's.

Haven't been there in ages because it made us sick. But this time the steak subs were on point really good

Best wings spot in Albemarle!! This place is all about the food and affordable prices. There might not be a place to sit down but Penny’s has it money on you not making home before you finish your wings.

To this day, this is still my number 1 spot for a delicious cheesesteak. These are so good that I compare other cheesesteaks to this and none have yet to surpass Penny's. I'm always picking them up when I'm visting my parents, but forget to take pictures because you have to devour them quickly before the bread gets soggy from the flavorful juices from the grilled meats, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and their special sauce.Their fries are also bomb. They have a perfect crumbly crispy outside with soft fluffy potato on the inside and of course seasoned perfectly.Their fried rice and plain chicken wings are also very delicious. You're missing out if you haven't tried them yet!
