Bidrage med feedbackHad Turkish bread with ham , cheese, red onion and chutney. Generous in size but extremely miserly in the filling, rendering it dry and tasteless.
Canteen style. Not too busy on Friday afternoon. Scones were whale sized lashed with cream. Yum. The hammer head shark chips were whale biting. Seafood platter with raw beet root strips chomped with healthy flavors. Self service with most most hot meals about $20. Nice view of the whaling ship from dining area. Can get busy orders can take longer.
Plan your visit away from busy times..or avoid altogether. There are signs everywhere asking you to be patient at busy times. By the time we were served, an hour after ordering there were only a handful of tables occupied. Looks as if the kitchen is totally disorganised, slow and understaffed, whther busy or not. We went on a Thursday, arrived just before 1pm and didn't finish and leave until 2:30. A complete waste of time. We would have been better returning to Albany to eat. The food was OK but pricey.
The restaurant has a canteen-style setup and wasn't very busy on Friday afternoon. The scones were unfortunately quite tough. The seafood cellar offered a dish featuring raw beetroot stripes diced with healthy aromatics. It's self-service, with most hot meals priced around $20. The view of the whale ship from the patio is beautiful, but be prepared for longer wait times for orders.
It’s acceptable, but not particularly thrilling. Don’t go out of your way to visit, but if you need to eat, you won’t be too disappointed.
