The Handpie Company - Albany

A must stop is the PEI Handpie Company! I never tasted that, I had the All Day breakfast and it was absolutely amazing! You have a wide selection of already warmed cakes to go and frozen to bring home with you, staff is extremely helpful and it is neet to see how they are made on site. everything is fresh and they are not shy with the fillings, great place to stop for a nice warm lunch!

When I first heard about the Handpie Company and the people how good they were, I had to try them. I stopped at the retail store / factory (absolutely beautiful) and went to pick up something and was shocked at the price, $9.00 a pie, whole cow! After a little contemplation, I bite the ball and built a box of 10 and saved a $1.00 a pie. I love meatcake? and in reflection, I don't think that handpie Co. is more expensive than the different bakeries, but the great difference is the quality, THESE PIES ARE AMAZING. I have now eaten 2 of the 10 cakes and if the remaining cakes are as good as the first (I am sure they will) the price was good with it. The pastry is light and fluffy, the cakes are full (most regular bakery meat cakes are 1/2 full) of the most amazing ingredients and flavors. After I tried, I can tell you that our freezer will never be without a box. Now is my only Quandary who is my favorite. Thank you. Sarah and team, your products are incredible.

Update 8/28/2022: Today, we tried the All Day Breakfast, and it was AMAZING! Flaky, tasty pastries, sausage, eggs, cheese, and maple baked beans... just so delicious! 9/3/2022: The Lake Meat Pie? Watch out, Turkey dinner; this handpie is going to give Christmas dinner a run for its money! Just add some potatoes, carrots, and cranberry sauce, and dinner is served!

If you go over the bridge in both directions? ve must stop here. Best handpis in Canada. And also friendly faces! The PEI Pasty is a work of magic. The sweet cakes are also great. And comfortable places to sit under the trees and eat if you want. We're coming back!

This restaurant has officially become a must-visit spot for us whenever we're in PEI. We discovered it when we first arrived on the island and decided to stop by on our way out around lunchtime. We’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely packed with flavor. We tried several different options along with their potato salad, and everything was so delicious that we ended up buying 14 frozen ones to take home. We cooked them in the air fryer for about 20-25 minutes, and they tasted just as fantastic at home!
