The Juicy Crab Albany

I ordered the spicy steamed oysters along with the Hungry Feast, which featured the juicy crab special with all three seasoning options. Both the service and the food were excellent. If it's your first visit, they will mark your table and ensure you receive special attention. The restaurant is well-maintained both inside and out. I highly recommend stopping by to check them out!

I have been here twice, and both times, I 've had the pleasure of having Cheyenne, The Best server. She is so friendly, and nice, and a great asset to your restaurant. Outside of your good food, she 'll be the reason I will visit again, so please treat her right! Customers please tip her, because in her words She got you ! She seems to love her job, and does it with ease, and no pressure, and a beautiful smile! By the way, the fried, breaded chicken wings are delicious, and served fresh out the grease. Just the way I like them. God bless!

Service was good. As the place got busier the server did his best to keep up and did a good job. He kept a frequent check on our table. The food was good. I had combo #8 with shrimp, sausage, dungeness crab, corn and potatoes. It was almost too much food for one person. My wife had chicken fingers and fries. Her meal was $11 but looked more like a kid's ???meal with just a handful of fries and four small nuggets (not fingers....nuggets). My daughter had chicken fingers and onion rings and she had more than she could eat. Looked like someone in the kitchen wasnt paying much attention to portion size. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Tables were not crowded into or around one another. The men's restroom was clean also. Only two things I didnt care for. First, the bar is right inside the main entrance. No way to get to the dining room without walking past the bar. Second, the music wasn't as loud when we arrived but later someone turned it up a lot and it was overbearing by the time we left.

We went on a pretty slow night. Kids started school next day but usually this place is busy with people everywhere. Our waiter got our order wrote it down on our huge table cloth at the bottom. And about 30 minutes later our food arrived. In picture was my meal. I eat right out the bag because I knew I was not going to eat my complete meal. Leftovers for another day. Overall great place with great vibe atmosphere.

Place is nice and clean. Waitress was polite. I ordered the catfish plate and it was good taste, seasoned right. Took longer to cook then I was expecting but good. I was told house draft beer was $3 and at the end we paid $6 . Sadly I did not check my receipt right away . I gave them 3 starts base on what I order and not on the whole menu. It was our first time eating here. I will try some of the crab and mussels dishes which look delicious next time we come back to Albany.
