La Roca - Albany

Went around 4pm and got lots of 7 dollar margaritas. They were wonderful. He got a fajita and I got some chicken, steak, bacon, cheese, pepper thang. It was delicious and the service was great.

Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing that hits you is an unpleasant odor, accompanied by unclean walls and seats that appear to have never been wiped down. After a lengthy wait, we decided to order just one meal, as the overall filthiness made me hesitant. I should have left right then and there, but my wife was hungry. After forcing herself to eat half of her meal, she expressed a desire to go somewhere else. She noted that the cheese tasted very cheap, although she remarked that the chicken was decent. Unfortunately, our waitress was inattentive; she never checked on us, didn’t offer drink refills, and didn’t inquire about the quality of our food at any point. I placed my credit card on the table as a subtle hint that we were ready to leave. After several minutes, a different server came by to process the payment. No one followed up about our meal, yet I was inexplicably overcharged by 45 cents. I have no intention of returning to this rundown, dirty, low-quality establishment that is poorly managed. I highly recommend dining elsewhere.

I really enjoy the outdoor dining area. They serve the best margaritas in town!

I requested a drink without ice, but they brought me a glass filled with ice instead. The rice was completely dry, and the meat was very tough.

I had been to this restaurant on three occasions and the food was excellent, quiet, etc. Until the last time the food was very bad, nothing like the other times I had gone, I also had a bad experience with another customer who was drunk and went to disturb my table (scaring my son) and the workers did nothing about it regard.
