Jack's Diner Ii - Albany

Quaint, small, traditional diner directly at the foot of the capital building. Had a French toast and bacon meal. Very delicious. It was the weekend, so there was no waiting time. I think during the week it can be quite busy with all government officials. I really liked it. Definitely recommend.

Clean, sweet diner with an extensive and inexpensive menu. We ordered brunch and the service was fast and polite, and the food was great. Guests are welcome to return to lunch specialties!

The staff was quite friendly, which was especially nice after being away for several months. The place is small, and since the other café on the street was packed, I decided to try this diner for brunch. I ordered the eggs Benedict with home fries, French onion soup, and an extra side of bacon. The eggs Benedict were generously topped with hollandaise sauce, just as they should be. The bacon was crispy, and the French onion soup was pleasantly warm without being too hot. My food arrived quickly, but that's to be expected as they aren't operating at full capacity yet. The waitresses checked on me regularly without being overly intrusive. Overall, I would definitely return.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant several times. Their homemade hash is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. We love it! The food is prepared on-site, the service is excellent, and the place is very clean. We will definitely be returning!

Great food. Friendly staff that makes you feel you're part of the family. Portions are large All meals are cooked to order so you need to have a little patience so cook can work his magic. I have never had a bad experience since coming here this past June. Reasonably priced for anyone's budget
