Bidrage med feedbackMediocre. The Hawaiian food here is just average. If I'm nearby and craving it, I might go, but it will never be my first choice. The staff at the window are usually friendly, although there were one or two occasions when the woman seemed to be having a rough day and was a bit grumpy. Everyone has off days, but it can feel a bit uncomfortable. On the plus side, it's slightly cheaper than other places, so that's a bonus. Overall, it's decent but not memorable. There are definitely better Hawaiian options out there.
Grindz is undoubtedly the BEST Hawaiian restaurant in the Linn/Benton County area. Their macaroni salad is fantastic, and their shoyu chicken and kalua pork are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend trying the tacos too!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is truly fantastic. It's a shame that some people leave one-star reviews just because they're not open, but I'm really glad I overlooked those and decided to give it a try.
Food is always delicious with generous portions! I particularly enjoy the Shoyu chicken plate and nachos! Everyone is super friendly and I will continue to be a repeat customer.
What does $6 get you for a side? 2 musubi wraps, which consists of; 2 slices of cooked spam (grilled is advertised, though i couldn't tell), covered on both sides with roughly 1.5 cups of ok sticky rice, wrapped individually in seaweed. All combining into an average to subpar snack depending on your tastes. What an absolute rip off. Was thinking this would be the first of many visits, but not if this is the quality and quantity i get for my money.Parking: Parking is unfortunately lacking.
