The Yiros Way - ALAWA

I had an excellent dining experience with incredibly flavorful food. The young woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. I believe this restaurant will definitely become a regular spot for me—it's truly amazing and authentic. Just a heads-up: the food may take a bit longer to prepare, but that's because it's made with love and great flavor!

I also love the variety of homemade savory and sweet pastries for a quick snack. The traditional Greek desserts are incredible as well! The service is always friendly and the portion sizes are generous. Occasionally, there can be a bit of a language barrier that results in orders being slightly incorrect, so it's best to be very clear with your requests, especially in Darwin’s diverse environment. The only downside is that the lamb is sometimes not ready for an early lunch, so I usually plan to have lunch a bit later. Additionally, parking can be tricky due to all the Greek tradies and patrons at the adjacent Greek club. Despite these minor issues, you can't go wrong with a large lamb yiros with everything on it! I've tried other kebab spots around Darwin, but this one offers the best quality, price, and service.

Very generous servings and like your greek aunt or yia yia would make. Delicious and left me feeling full. Very clean as well. Situated in suburban Alawa. I had the lamb yiros with extra tzatziki.

Really nice assortment of authentic Greek dishes, has to be the best Yiros and Kababs in Darwin.... Real meat Great salads, fries deserts and the coffee too. Lovely staff, friendly helpfull. Corona-Virus Update !!! This great cafe are still making the best Greek food available for takeaway, support your locals everyone..... Yummy
