Bidrage med feedbackI was a bit skeptical to have Thai food in Alaska, but must say that was amazing. I had the chicken pillow Thai and my wife had the same. Payment was easy with your choice of cash or credit card. For those who stay or travel through the lodge, I strongly recommend stopping and this for lunch or dinner.
We had Pad Thai and Pad Drunken and they are both really good. We ended up going there two days in a row. Highly recommend this place for people staying nearby.
If I were in the bottom 48, I'd rate that a three. But in the middle of the forest, hours of the next deliveries, and cooked in the cramped neighborhoods of a food truck, I give him 5. So I'm going to split the difference with an evaluation of four. The green curry was good and it came with rice. The sign says that food is not spicy unless asked, but that was spicy. I was glad because I forgot to ask for some spices, but others could find too much. Shrimp Thai had 5 beautiful large shrimps in it and was good. Nime Chow (fresh spring rollers) lacked something. You have coffee and tea, but if you want to drink soda or something else, you can get it in the warehouse over the parking lot. Where else do you get Thai food in the fresh air with mountain views and a three-hour drive to decent supplies/food? Denali! I'd go back! They accept credit cards and have covered and open seats.
Make yourself a favor and try it. it is my favorite place in all Healy/Denali area! Portions are slightly large enough for two meals!
So easy and good Thai food so close to the entrance of the Denali State Park. Has protected seat and card payment. Try the Thai iced tea.
