Sadly the wonderful daily menu is no longer available. At nearly every table you could hear, We changed for this year! . The locals are no longer there sadly, so the mix is of tourists who after many years are left wondering what has happened. The menu is drastically reduced, and I wonder if their Chefs have left, as no grilled items are on the list. Sadly, it is the end of an era.

We were staying locally and had been told that the salmon was excellent! We went on a warm night to this traditional Portuguese place and both had the salmon fillet which was excellent. The chef cooks it on a charcoal grill . The green bean soup was also excellent but there’s lots to choose from. We had starters, side salad, 2 main meals with beers , water and wine which cost less than €40 Really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. It’s casual dining so no need to dress up !

We ate here a couple of times during our trip as were staying across the road. Food was very good, lots of choice, tasty and def good value. The peri peri chicken was very nice. Pint of estrella for €2.50 too.

Great choice of Portuguese dishes with a range of fish that changes on the day. All freshly cooked and served in a friendly family restaurant. Very busy lunchtimes so essential to book. We also like going in the evening when it’s a lot quieter but of course the food is just as good. Our friend is Gluten intolerant and they advised her with good choices and adapted some dishes to suit her choice. Very helpful.

Tasty food at a good price. Great service and spotlessly clean. Just a bit cold at this time of year so wear warm clothes.
