Sam Sylk's Chicken Fish - Akron

I went here for lunch with a coworker after discovering it on Google. I ordered the perch sandwich with fries, a slice of red velvet cake, and a jar of blue raspberry drink. Denzel was the only one working in the shop that day. He was very friendly and attentive, even while managing a busy workload. I noticed him preparing fresh lettuce and tomatoes for our sandwiches, so our wait was about 15 to 20 minutes. However, once we started eating, I can confidently say the food was absolutely worth the wait!

Not good at all did not finish my meal the chicken wasn?t crunchy, the waffle tasted like it got cooked in a pan with leftover food in it. Won?t be going back

The chicken was just okay—somewhat bland, which was disappointing. However, the fish was much better. The fries were average; I've had better before, and they forgot to include my coleslaw.

The fried fish is excellent it?s jus to bad you can never get it I call at least twice a week and for the past 3 to 4 weeks there out they tell you they get there truck Monday or Thursday but it seems they only order enough for truck day and not the entire week you would think the manager would up the truck order or something by now but the employees just be too happy they don?t have to make a order so there fine with it. They should just change the name to sams sylks

I had the wings and fries, and they were delicious, especially the okra. Everything was made to order, so it was all hot and fresh. If you decide to go, be prepared to enjoy your meal there, as there are no tables available for dining in.
