Happy Family - Akron

Literally the NICEST workers so accommodating with my vegan diet. I really loved the women working there!!!I ordered on Uber eats and she called me to tell me about my vegan options and offered to give me extra veggies instead of rice. So freaking sweet!!

Since we have moved here 5 years ago, I have been here dozens of times. Due to COVID, buffet has been unavailable, but people may dine in or take out from menu. The Walnut Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Pepper Steak, Roast Pork Egg Foo Young, General Tso's Chicken are our favorites. The bad reviews don't seem credible clean, tasteful atmosphere I have never seen any bugs there. I bring my friends relatives to Happy Family.

This was a great place to eat when it was a buffet. But when covid hit they discovered that it was more profitable to order off the menu They should be forced to take down the buffet sign because it isn't a buffet. What a shame.

This place is our family favorite. Every time we go we leave with smiles on our faces. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is just delicious. Take out, dine in, or back before covid when they were able to do a buffet has always been a wonderful positive experience. I love Happy Family!

The vegetable fried rice is pretty good. Nothing special about the sweet and sour chicken same as everybody else in the Chinese fast food. The chicken in the broccoli and chicken was absolutely disgusting. It felt like it was nothing but fat there was absolutely no meat to it but yet it didn't seem like fat. Honestly don't know what it was. Will not eat there again.
