Delicious food, good people, great atmosphere. Service is a little slow, but being at Edgar's gives you a warm, homey feeling that can't be beat.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life this far, and I am 65yrs young. It should be against the law for the service we received. We had a dinner party for my brother's birthday. Food was horrible. The fried chicken I ordered looked like large hush puppies. If not for me finding a chicken bone, I would have thought it was something foreign. I was supposed to get spicy greens with my dinner, but I didn't. My wine was hot not chilled. I got my salad when we were on our way out the door. My nice dinner came as we were ready to leave. And they had to put it in a to go box. I can go on, but I won't. It was so unorganized. Who serve salad at the end of the meal? (Where they do that at? Edgars) The manager was entertaining his own guess when he should have been making sure the staff was taking care of the business. Keep this up and you won't have anyone returning except your friends. My advice to you is handle your business or you won't have a business. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.

From the food to the service to the atmosphere... absolutely outstanding! Our waiter Eric was warm and personable... checked in just enough to know we're seen, but space to enjoy our dinner. And the prime rib... cooked to perfection! This was our 2nd time there, Highly recommend!!

Always enjoy this locally owned restaurant with a very creative restaurant of seafood and barbecue. Staff is solid and patio overlooking the golf course is great but can get very hot. The problem is with the City of Akron who owns the property. The flower beds and greenspace in front of the restaurant looks like an abandoned field- weeds and dirt and very unattractive. The trash dumpsters also greet you as you are walking in with vert bad smells. The outdoor cooking area is also exposed and very unkept. These issues could be solved with a bit of effort and little cost. First impressions are important and this first impression is sad.

We have been there 2 times First time we had a party of 6 and they brought everyone's food out except my husbands. They finally brought it out when the rest of us were almost completely done with our meal. Second time we had a party of 15 and same thing happened to our son except this time everyone was completely done with their meals and then they bought his food our. We asked to speak to the manager and she came over and apologized and said that he was enjoying his food now that it came out and did nothing to make it right. They should have handled that way differently. The food is good but the service is not.
