Boiling House Seafood Sushi - Akron

Great hidden gem for sushi and boiled seafood. Prices are excellent and the selection of sushi is impressive. The restaurant is clean and service was quick. Sushi was made to order. Overall, highly recommend trying this little hole in the wall!

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Akron. They have excellent hot juicy boiled seafood bags. It's absolutely the equal of any other restaurant of this type that I have eaten at. You seem to get the most bang for your buck with the already peeled shrimp. The lobster is good but very very expensive. The sausage you can get in the boil bags is okay but is nothing special. Early Saturday evening, got a table immediately and prompt friendly service. We had the shrimp po' boy, and lots of sushi! All delicious! I think they added 10% gratuity for dine in though, which we didn't realize until we were walking out.

The sushi is decent. The crawdads were pretty good and I like the spice. The clams were very very greedy. I understand clams and how they tend to be greedy but this was over the top. I believe they did not rinse them at all prior to boiling them in the bag. Every bite was like chewing on sand. Plus the shells were badly broken

Very friendly people. Best bubble tea you can get it. Customer service is great! Look at it.
