Bidrage med feedbackCame here because it's closer to home than Arnone. I was a bit underwhelmed. The food was tasty but there was hair in both my food and my daughters. I got a Cobb Salad (the dressing was delicious) and my daughter got a Peach Grilled Cheese and a Peach Pie Latte. She said both were delicious! This coffee shop feels a little thrown together and not very welcoming. I would go back if invited by a friend but I don't think it would be my first choice.
A calm and cozy coffee shop. Serves house made pastries and seasonal sandwiches, wraps and soups. Excellent GF pastry selection. The scones and muffins are delicious enough to make you question if they are GF?
Excellent place to get coffee! Great breakfast sandwiches too- the seating is lovely and love that they used the old chairs from Ellet high-school or so it seems- my favorite was the Turkish latte with oat milk- I’ve never had anything like it but it was excellent- very nutty flavor! Vegetarian options: They had options which I think is nice even though I am not vegetarian Dietary restrictions: They had different kinds of milks etc
Definitely geared towards coffee fans, but they did have a couple of interesting tea choices too. The muffins were excellent, super soft and moist inside although more sugary on the outside than I personally prefer. We had 3 adults+ 2 kids, and managed to snag half of the fireplace spots, which are much more comfy than the rest of the chairs. I went with some doubts, but we will definitely be going back. Dietary restrictions: I saw some GF naked goods. Kid friendliness: Our 2 kids (4 6) shared a cookie we joked about being as big as their heads and they cuddled on the couch with us watching videos on a phone and learning to knit with us. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and level surface, id I recall properly.
Found this local gem while visiting Akron. The pastries were the perfect complement to the delicious coffee. The shop was comfortable and the staff were welcoming. The chairs were repurposed, most likely antiques from old churches or elementary schools, which certainly added to the character of the place. If you’re looking for a unique café give this place a visit. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
