No volveremos.
We decided to stop at this restaurant because it's close to the lake and it looks nice and spacious, we were a group of 10 people. As we entered the restaurant wasn't busy, plenty of tables available, we chose one by the windows to get s view of the lake but it was not big enough so we requested if we could fit two tables together to accommodate all of us and the waiter told us he was not able to do so because it would be to tight in that particular space and offered us a different table by the entrance, we didn't make a fuzz out of it and took it.Once seated we ordered "molcajetes", and the server said it would take 30 to 40 min wait, I thought it was too much but, oh well, the place is nice so why not enjoy a couple of beers in the meantime and they gave us tortilla chips and salsa, we decided to stay. After the first round of chips was gone,it took about 15 min for another server to come around and we asked for more chips, he then said they ran out of chips but he offered us tostadas, we took them. After 40 min, we asked for more tostadas and salsa, the salsa came but no tostadas, a different girl came and said, NO TOSTADAS, and gave us crackers instead, i was getting upset at that point. 60 min later and no molcajetes, and it took another 10 min for somebody to give us more beers. Finally I decided to canceled the order and asked for the bill, instantly the molcajetes came, one of them was darn cold, I called the waiter and told him that was unacceptable so I canceled it and asked if they would give us at least a discount for the delay and bad service, he said he would ask.Once done, we ordered the bill, that came in lees of a blink. When we saw it, something was wrong so we checked the items and realized that they over charged us for more of $250 added to what we were supposed to pay. We returned the bill and the guy finally accepted the mistake, but still no apology nor discount, I was fuming and outraged. The administrators of the restaurant were there but didn't bother to come and apologize or anything, the one lady behind the bar just looked at us like she was doing us a favor. No tip or thank you of course, and will never go back to that dump hole.
Trying to sample all of the different restaurants in the area but had not eaten down by the Malecon.I had a burrito dish was was tasty. My friend had quesadillas which looked very good (he said they were good). Only issue which I hadn't encountered before here Lakeside ... there were bones in with the chicken in the burritos. Fortunately, I chew enough so I didn't die. But that did alter my impression of the restaurant. Will try again and see if things are safer to eat.
