Les Delices Thai - Aix-en-Provence

Don't bother. The food is really not nice and very poor service. Very expensive for the quality and quantity. The 2 chinese/ vietnamese and especially the koreen on the same street (which has a lovely copious menu for 17€ are much better.

We selected the 22eur menu.The first course (rolls) and the dessert(coconut cakes)were ok but the main was really disappointing!The rice portion was a joke(size of a mini bowl)and the Peking Duck hardly tasted like Asian food!Even the rosé wine was NOT served chilled and the owner of the restaurant was unfriendly.A shame the other waitress could only take our drink orders,at least she had a sense of custumer service!

This was a one waiter and one cook restaurant which normally works quite well in these smaller restaurants. But not in this one. The service was extremely slow it took around 20 minutes to receive a drink from first sitting down. The food was good when it arrived but the main meal was extremely small portions. We both felt hungry at the end of the meal (and that included a starter). There are much better oriental restaurants in Aix

This place should not be calling itself a thai restaurant and does a huge disservice to thai food generally! I ordered a pad Thai and I did not get one. Instead I got a plate of rice noodles without any seasoning or sauce and with some boiled vegetables placed on top. No egg, next to no peanuts. Really bland and tasteless. I am not a fussy eater but i could not bring myself to eat this at all. My dad ordered a yellow curry which had the same soft boiled vegetables in it and a sauce made up of mostly curry powder as far as we could tell. It was really pretty bad. The people next to us also seemed to have the same experience. Maybe it's our fault trying a thai place in provence! In any case, all I can say is AVOID!!

Nothing to see with a Thai restaurant. and even Chinese food is not so good. If you are looking a good Thai restaurant go to Bangkok restaurant not far from there.
