La Brasserie De La Place

A large young crowd predominantly that stays late at night. Went to check it out and watch a World Cup game. Slow service. Food decent. Drinks average. Better places in Cassis.

The service staff at this restaurant are beyond rude. It was not just us they treated poorly, we viewed the same treatment to other guests. The first time, we did stay and eat and the food was mediocre, the servers condescending. The second time, I stopped by to make reservations for a table for an event and was told they do not take reservations. The owner was very rude. I then called the evening before and they said they did not take reservations, but to come early. We arrived 3 hours early and were told the restaurant was full and to go somewhere else . Several young Americans were just after us and the server told them to learn French and then maybe they could eat there. Unbelievable. This is not tolerable, I live in Aix and there are many other restaurants with much better food and excellent service. I advise you not to give a euro to La Brasserie de la Place.

A pleasant meal on the terrace where we were able to enjoy a fresh beer, a good meal and a welcoming staff. The card is very varied, everyone can find his account. The quality and quantity of the various dishes ordered are satisfactory. Ideal for a relaxing lunch at noon. The small square is rather remote from the road noises. I recommend and I will come back to test other dishes!

It's the first time I publish a restaurant review on a very pleasant place a crowded terrace welcome to the outstanding service despite the crowd meals on the map as well as the dish of the day Duck Magret and its sauce a slaughter that we ended our meal with a homemade chestnut dessert and a orange pastry flank that say we will return without problem bravo and congratulations for this service Patrick
