Osteria Sport - Airolo

Not often you find exactly what you are looking for. Bed and Bike Tremola is a rare find. We planned an overnight in the vicinity of Airolo to attempt a ride over San Gottardo on our way to Italy. Our only regret is we stayed only one night. Luca, Tania and Ruun are exceptional hosts. And the fully equipped bike workshop came in handy the next morning! It was super good! We got fixed price set for a lunch. Everything was perfect: main course (rabbit), salad and dessert. Highly recommended. Thank you, Tremola!

This chef creates dishes as a serious act of self expression and his cooking reflects an inner commitment to delicious flavors, amazingly beautiful presentation and celebration of local food resources edible plants of the region and fresh trout from local streams. At the risk of creating expectations which may not be met in the eyes of future diners, allow us to say that this recent meal at Osteria Tremola reminded us of the spirit of Gabriel Axel 's classic Danish film, Babettes gaestebud Babete 's Feast . We felt privileged to be the beneficiaries of such an extraordinary spirit.

Was here twice for lunch. We explored all available and it was an absolute culinary journey! Ingredients are selected, if possible local, and of very high quality; preparation is very original where different tastes amalgamate very well with the dish. Dishes are presented elegantly. Service is great. It is a new pearl in the Alps! Will be back!!! Ps: rooms are modern, very spacious and inviting.

Super Restaurant in Airolo, klein und unscheinbar, aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Das Nachtessen mit 4 Gängen war sensationell. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und freundlich in einem einfachen Restaurant. Ein Geheimtipp für Gourmets. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet.
