Sorso Lounge - Airdrie

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and eating. the terrace is spacious and pet-friendly. I like the menu vegan and low carb options as well as their regular items. the only part I found was the open microphone night when it was distracted by the venue and ambiente (and was too loud for the inside eating). I'll eat there again, but not Sunday.

Sorso is a brilliant, multipurpose spot. Great for a first date, a quick bite, or a catch up with a friend. The menu boasts a variety of options from flat breads, to pasta, burgers, and a number of starters for sharing. There are a number of local craft beer on draft and quality cocktails to choose from alongside wonderful coffee options. On our last visit our server Chanel was the ideal balance of attentive while leaving space for us to enjoy our time together. The staff is kind and friendly, always sure they're doing their best to ensure their guests are taken care of. Highly recommend this spot.

We started with tasty bellini's followed by the delicious Korean BBQ tacos recommended by our awesome server Jade!! Always a great atmosphere and good food.

However, the restaurant could really use a thorough cleaning, and there are serious issues with air circulation and ventilation. It felt smoky inside, and unfortunately, my clothes had a greasy smell when I got home. I noticed the back door was left open, which allowed flies to come inside, adding to our irritation while dining. Perhaps the kitchen could benefit from some pest control? All that being said, I would consider returning, especially if the atmosphere is a bit more pleasant and the flies are gone.
