Kobe Japanese Steak Seafood House

Great food! Some of the best hibachi! Not all of the cooks put on a really great show, but the food was excellent. We will be going back! The early bird special is a great deal!

My family and I went to Kobe on Washington Rd for Mother's Day and the service was awful. They would only seat us with other black people as if white people can't eat with us, the cook was rude, and they did not serve us the amount of food we expected for the $90.00 we spent. I will NEVER eat there again.

I went to Kobe 's on Washington Road with my husband, family, and friends for Valentine 's Day. The cook was awful. The manager was rude and the food was okay, but it was undercooked. It was a lesson learned. Most of all it was overpriced for the awful service we received.

This is a restaurant you must try! I have been going to the fancy Japanese restaurant in Augusta for years but Kobe blew them out of the water! The food is so much better, not just a brick of rice and there is a larger variety of vegetables. Best of all, they are half the price! You can order the steak, and add chicken, or shrimp, or scallops or all if you choose. There is a wait, it is a small restaurant but it is worth the wait. The building is not a beautiful as the fancy restaurant, but the taste of the food and the value of my money is more important to me than having a beautifully painted ceiling. They are opening one in Augusta soon, I look forward to visiting there often.
