Scalinatella - AGROPOLI

This place is good for fine dining. One of the nicest places in Agropoli. We had tuna and kids had assorted fried fish. Excellent menu and excellent fish. Service may be slow but they are often fully booked.

We had dinner at Scalinatella Restaurant during our stay in Agropoli. We were seated on the terrace with great views across the piazza. The waiter serving us was very friendly, courteous and attentive, however, the service from the kitchen was extremely slow. There was only one other table at the time of our order so we weren't sure why it took so long to get our meal. When the meal did arrive, it was nicely presented, but a small serving and for what we got expensive.

Such a cute little place. The waitress brought out the chef because he spoke better English. We took his recommendation for a 'grilled fish ' and a steak. They were both excellent!! It was a nice change from pizza and pasta.

Great food, wine and service. Fresh Seafood of high quality carefully prepared. Scenery included! Highly recommended.
