Presumably a staff favourite program but I was under the outdated view they were there to work. The restaurant clientele other than us were obviously local workers, solely male and presumably having a set deal. Service was inattentive and disinterested. Chips arrived unsalted, pizza was poor at best..terrible quality tomato salsa and the base was extremely thin at bottom yet very thick and burnt at rim. When we complained at end, no apology was offered. We couldn't get out there quick enough and to add insult to injury..clearly hoped we were paying cash to avoid tax so we made sure we paid by card. It was also 28 euro which is most expensive pizza meal I have had locally in a very long time if ever. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
When you're visiting Agrigento, you have to walk up a million steps and then back down those same steps. After a trip to the grocery store and those million steps my partner and I decided on the closest pizza restaurant. We both ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was just basic. The crust was good, the tomato sauce was tasteless and the cheese just basic, nothing special. Nice location, street was crowded with families so that's a good sign the neighborhood is popular. Service was fine.
Coffee a little too toasted and croissant and sweets kept there too much time, old already to the sight. fairly kind staff, overall improved
