Bidrage med feedbackIt was okay, but I honestly never go back. I don't care about most beers I tried. The food was really pretty good! But I went for the vibe I expected to be there, and it wasn't. And a big party was in front of me and talked about the entire outdoor area as well as most of the staff's attention
My wife and I had a high-time dinner here and it was perfect. the owner pete lee was very easy to work and always communicate via email and phone well. we had reserved the entire outdoor terrace for our party of 50 guests. the food was served buffet/tapas style that made it easy for our guests to walk around and mix. our orders: bretzel bisse spicy tuna on reis crisp tavern slides mahi mahi tacos garnelen spits short rib tacos churros pork belly bao buns chicken upper leg spits with green twee zucchini spits the whole food was really delicious and the whole gast has also put it together. we also had a dedicated beer/wine station that was brilliant. her name was z. whether they are looking for a rehearsal, casual lunch or dinner, I recommend tomoko tavern. eating and beer is wonderful and the mood is also very funny.
Our food was great and the six beers we tried were GJoe's. As someone who eats a vegan diet, but is married to a meat eater, it was nice to have some vegan options on the menu that actually have some decent protein content. The garlic sweet chili sauce was a beautiful taste to go on edamame instead of just the typical salt. And the plant based Sloppy Mo 's was really good. The cheese was nice and melted, the meat-based sloppy Joe 's had a nice kick to taste and the Cole Slav and roasted onions in the sandwich gave a nice cripple while helping to balance the piece of spiciness of the sloppy Joes. Of course I didn't try the bacon cheese burger, but my husband said it was really well flavored. The frits he got looked like freshly cut frits.
We thought the area was a wedding. The staff was very nice and sat very fast. We had a few drinks that were good and refreshing. The Ladyface IPA was my favorite. Our party had some of the starters and for dinner we had several Tomoko burgers and fish and chips. The food had a lot of taste and cooked for perfection. We enjoyed our meals and will stop at our next visit to the area.
Yummmm everything is so good. Get the CHURROS! The fish chips are delicate and elevated, the burger is solid and the vibe is wonderful. Nice view, great service. A hidden gem, go there!
