Caffe Letterario - AGNONE

I’m going to give them a five star review because they were amazing to me and my family during our stay over Christmas 2023. Had coffee there every morning and even had a great dinner there Christmas night. Great coffee, delicious drinks, cocktails and wine. Their pizza is quite tasty too! Employees were very nice to us as well! Espresso is outstanding!

Caffe Letterario is a good sized Pinseria coffee shop gelateria. It is located in a slightly elevated view overlooking a small but very charming square. Their specialty is long pizzas served on wooden boards. It also has an extensive bar should you just want to enjoy a drink or an aperitif. We only stopped for coffee and biscotti but the experience was none the less a very pleasant one. The menu is well priced and offers a variety of different options. This is a lovely place for people watching while enjoying a really tasty Italian coffee.

I met with my fellow students each morning for coffee and a chat. Some evenings we ate in the restaurant which is small so you would need to book. It 's only a small place but really is central to the old town part of Agnone. You can sit out on the veranda near the fountain of mountain water and watch the world go by. I was having a language learning holiday with Live and learn Italian a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in language and culture.

Excellent service and high quality of the products served. comfortable and elegant environment. recommended.

They do not have an extensive food offering and we had a continental breakfast each morning which was more than adequate. At evening, aperativo selection was very good. They expand into the piazza during summer months which made it very spacious and comfortable. They also have a good selection of water, juices etc.
