The Crab Tree - Adur

A lovely little find in Shoreham. Friendly and welcoming staff. Kid friendly and with a menu serving burgers and hotdogs plus landlords who know how to keep beer, well worth a visit.

Unfortunately this pub has gone downhill fast. From the food to the service to the staff well the landlord who clearly let's anything be! Such a shame once was a nice local to what it is now

I attempted to make a reservation at The Crab Tree but encountered difficulty booking online. After calling the restaurant and being told they would follow up, I never received a callback. After reaching out again and speaking with Nathan, the manager's son, I was assured he would get back to me, but unfortunately, he did not. I then sent an email and have yet to receive a response, despite it being almost two weeks ago. The customer service at this restaurant is terrible.

We had a negative experience at this restaurant when a local individual, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, disrupted our meal. Despite our attempts to explain that we were not with him, we were asked to leave. The landlord was extremely rude and unprofessional, telling us to "f off" when we tried to clarify the situation.

I had heard the food was good, but this is wrong. It's not good; it's actually exceptional.Went to watch the football and ordered Steak and Ale pie. The meat was lean and tender, the sauce and gravy delicious, the puff pastry great, the vegetables as they should be not too mushy, slightly a le dente. The plum crumble for pudding was equally impressive with great custard just as it should be. All washed down with a great Ale.The service was also friendly, attentive and professional. The atmosphere relaxed and comfortable.The pub itself is very clean and well maintained.All in all a very pleasant experience with delicious food
