This is a tiny hidden place and you feel like you are eating with family. The products are all fresh and home made, the food is very simple but everything is delicious. I loved the pickled veggies (which I usually don't like , the fried asparagus, the great home made pasta and the rabbit (looked strange but was fantastic! Something like rabbit spare ribs.. . The place is tiny so make your reservation in advance! The place is hard to find follow google and the sings... Attention: Only Italian speaking!
Polenta is especially good. Risotto with cheese and mushrooms was lovely, and so were roasted rabbit and chicken with red and Yellow peppers. The hand made peach marmalade tiramisù was delicious. Cold cuts antipasto were ok, less impressive than the rest. The location is an old house in an ancient village, mostly refurbished, with a traditional look and some memories on the walls. Pleasant and quite easy to reach from Milan by car 1 hour 10 minutes, if it needs a few minutes walking Beyond the parking. Very reasonable price at 25 euros per person including water and coffee, plus drinks.

We had not booked and it wasn't actually open, but the family who run this little farm restaurant nevertheless made us welcome. We experienced a taste of regional home cooking that is hard to find elsewhere. All the courses were delicious: highlights included homemade ravioli and casoncelli speciality from Bergamo. The farmhouse pickles and preserves that accompanied the selection of local meats and cheeses were so good that we asked to buy some to take away. All accompanied by a velvety cabernet merlot produced from the farm's vineyard. Meeting and chatting (only Italian spoken) with the lovely lady who does the cooking and her family was a treat. One not to miss but better to book rather than rely on good fortune and kindness.
