The Lucky Thai - Adelaide

The food was bad and the food portions could feed only 1 person. The worst Thai food in SA and prices did not match the food content.

The food at this restaurant did not meet my expectations at all. It was the worst Thai food I have had in Australia. The portion sizes were too small and there was a long wait for the food, even though the restaurant was not full. I would recommend going somewhere else instead.

Well, this place didn't disappoint. Staff very efficient and helpful. The Duck and Chili apple was excellent as the dumplings and the chicken Satay-skewers. Decor is very simple, but the food is as good as you get anywhere.

We decided to dine at this restaurant because it was conveniently located next to our hotel, Grand Chancellor, and we were too tired to go anywhere else. I'm happy we chose to eat here because the chicken cashew nuts, green curry, and roasted rice were delicious. The Tom Yum soup was especially tasty. The only thing that bothered us was seeing a man sleeping at the entrance of the restaurant.

Sorry to say I did not enjoy this one. It had quite a few people dining in when I got the take-away, so it is obvioulsy popular. Maybe they do Thai differently in Adelaide than what I'm used to form other cities?
