The Duke Hotel - Adelaide

We attended a work function for RAB Engineering tonight, and upon arrival found the set menu was a choice between turkey or beef. We are vegan. We asked the (fantastic) waiter if we could have the main meal minus the meat, not being the types to make a fuss we would have been happy with some veggies/salad. To our absolute delight, the chef prepared something especially for us, completely seperate from the set menu and entirely delicious. I'm feeling very grateful to have not been treated like an inconvenience and left feeling completely satisfied and honestly a little choked up at the absolutely wonderful experience we were given tonight. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much. The pineapple and mint sorbet was to die for.

Buffet breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. Well done kitchen staff, I loved the food.The staff are extremely efficient and attentive and friendly. Will not stay anywhere else from here on in Adelaide. Michael at brekky was particularly good and helpful with service. Thank you all so much for looking after me.

Stunning hotel, friendly attentive staff lovely room. Parking is easy hotel is a short walk to the casino, Festival Theatre etc. The buffet breakfast was absolutely incredible. We would highly recommend will be back.

We live in the mid north and stayed for one night, as my husband had to help out a Lions Club promotion at the Glendi Festival. This was our 7th stay at the Playford and it was excellent again. Staff are courtious, friendly and can’t do enough for you. The room was immaculate, very welcoming, and the bed was extremely comfortable. This was a good price for the room, as it was still in ‘Mad March’ I would highly recommend the Playford Hotel, and we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent establishment, Food staff accommodation service I cant fault it. The only place that I stay when I come to Adelaide.
