Bidrage med feedbackLove it! Honey toast is their speciality, I prefer the strawberry honey toast with their house fresh apple tea. It's fresh apple purée with black tea. Really unique. Delish! I really love the fresh strawberry jam they serve the toast with. Great price too, the honey toast is best shared as times quite a generous serve. Have been back a number if times. Crepes tasty too. Service could improve but the food is worth it.
Served one of the best toast with ice cream and honey plus they add strawberry on top.<br/ <br/ the toast it self is kind of like a block. the texture of the bread is amazing. crispy in the outside and very delicate and soft on the inside. perfect for sharing, worth the money. really love the smell when the cook is making this dessert. choose matcha ice cream and its perfect! great great great.<br/ <br/ really would love to try the matcha lava cake. and oh! their belgium chocolate drink is great too! <br/ <br/ gonna comeback sometime soon (hopefully)
Sir Café, probably one of the most hidden restaurants on Rundle Street. You are required to go up a flight of stairs before entering this restaurant, and you know you entered the right place once you see their huge moustache logo. A reminder to the taller people, be careful when walking up and down those stairs, its really narrow and you can easily knock your head. <br/ <br/ Once you enter the restaurant, you will see some very old-fashioned designs, and hear some old-school music. It sure was interesting, but the restaurant itself was quite small and had limited seating. The chair they provide is quite awkward to sit on when eating but great if you 're sitting back and relaxing whilst drinking a cup of coffee/tea. <br/ <br/ Since I 'm a huge matcha green tea fan, there was no consideration required, and I immediately ordered their matcha green tea waffle. The presentation of the dessert was great, and it was nice to see their logo perfectly made with chocolate powder on the side of their dishes. Now to tasting, the waffle gave me an unusual feeling as it tasted a little raw and a cheese taste to it. Not sure what it was, but it was not the normal waffle you would expect, however adding the ice cream with it just pushed the dish to a whole new level. The green tea ice cream was amazing! It was nice and smooth, and not powdery like how some dessert places make it. The ice cream was also very 'green tea ', and you could actually taste and smell it. <br/ <br/ Overall, Sir café offers a nice and peaceful environment with great desserts. If you 're matcha green tea fan like me, there are also other dishes like the lava cake and crème brulee, which both tasted amazing. If you can find Sir Café, you should come and relax, and enjoy your desserts.
Pretty nice dessert cafe hidden away on Rundle Street, you need keen eyes to find it. Though there are little seating areas, the place was very design and had very doll house feeling to it. Flavours in the dessert were flavoursome with the matcha being on point. Overall, Sir Cafe is a decent dessert cafe if you are after something sweet whilst down Rundle Street. Keep a look out for the moustache.
Small little dessert cafe situated at Rundle street second level. Small little stairs lead to this high ceiling cafe. There's minimal tables and seats available so if you are thinking to go in a big group, ring in and make a reservation. Recommendation of dessert honey toast!!! I love the durian and taro honey toast. The honey toast is precut so it's easier to eat. It is not overly too sweet which is a bonus. I've been here few times, the lava cake previous visit was much tastier with good texture. The last visit, the matcha lava cake was slightly undercook. The flavour is beautiful but the cake taste a bit doughy and raw. The menu serves some small nibbles (savouries) so not totally all sweet. Not a bad range of drinks, just the standards. Worth a try if around city.
