Monday's Coffee Store - Adelaide

I had some time to kill before work one morning, so thought I'd stop by this charming cafe off Rundle Mall. The interior is tiny, however they have utilised the limited space well. A constant stream of people appear to flock here for their daily coffee/s, which is what Monday's is renowned for. I managed to grab a table at the front and placed an order. My poached eggs with avocado was good, but lacked a little oomph. The haloumi was delicious, cooked on a grill plate to give it added texture. There aren't a lot of breakfast options, but they are appealing nonetheless. It wouldn't hurt staff to be more personable.

Excellent speciality coffee- rotating single origin and blends filtered and espresso coffees. Didn't have any food but looked good, mainly a coffee joint. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Perfect spot for a quiet coffee in central Adelaide. The sparkling water on tap was a nice touch!

Not a lot of healthy options but staff are extremely friendly and genuinely lovely. Whilst sitting at a table having a coffee and some food, I observed the owner make a plate of waffles. Only to then take them out onto the street to offer to people waiting for a bus.  The food wasn't amazing and neither was the coffee but it filled a gap when nowhere else was open. The customer service and generosity of spirit that I observed from both staff members who were working that day. Coupled with their willingness to please and pleasant disposition was faultless and quite lovely to be on the receiving end of.

Found this place by accident while walking around Rundle mall. IIf you like strong coffee, this is one of the best places in Adelaide! My partner and I always stop by for a takeaway whenever we're nearby. Don't miss it if you're a coffee lover. Just give it a try!

A well thought out renovation and completely redesigned menu has elevated 'Monday's' to be one of the premier coffee vendors in Adelaide. Their experience shows through consistently excellent espresso and filter offerings. I strongly recommend stopping by even if you have been been in before, things have changed at Monday's Coffee Store!
