Bidrage med feedbackI went with a mate for dinner. I enjoyed having the two broths in the split pot. Very fresh ingredients plus lots of sauces and condiments available. Better for the colder days. Will come back for a second try.
Customer service was below average There is a good selection of hot pot broths available, and decent range of meats + veg and mushrooms to add, but overall a very expensive way to eat hot pot for what you get
The restaurant was set as sushi train. A burner in front of each person and serve by self. My bf and I went for dinner. Once we entered in, chinese staff spoke in chinese to us. As we weren't chinese, we couldn't understand and a bit annoyed. While deciding menu, everything was new to us and needed staff's help. So we asked for recommendations and details but what the staff said was "everything is yammy" and "details are next to each menu". Anyhow we ordered and finished food with some level of satisfaction. When we came up to pay, a female staff spoke in chinese again. After we told her that we aren't chinese, she spoke english without apologise. She asked us to sit down and wait for a bill that took more than 5 mins to get our bill. She kept serving other customers while we were awkwardly waiting for a bill. The receipt was in chinese. We wondered why this place is located in Hindley street instead of chinatown if they provide service in chinese to whole asian groups of customers.Although foods were great, customer service was terrible.
Excellent Chinese food and experience. We each ordered soup which we heated on our individual stoves and meat to cook in it. Numerous extra ingredients circulated on a train in front of the diner. Food was very tasty and as we were the only non-Asians in this busy restaurant I would say the food was quite authentic.
I stumbled onto this restaurant by accident, and was glad I did. Set up like a Sushi Train, you sit at a bench around the ;track;. In front of you is a burner. You have the option of about 15 or so stocks, many cuts of meat, poultry, seafood, vegetarian options to add to it. You put them in your stock to cook, but the interesting thing is everything else you want to add goes past on the train track. Greens, tofu, mushrooms, vegetables, etc....you just choose what you want and add it to your own pot. Great concept. I dined alone, so it was ideal, but with a group of friends would be just as fun. Definitely worth trying this place out,
