Bidrage med feedbackDinner with the fambam saw us trying out Bing'sHard to believe that this place has existed for years and we have only just managed to check it out.
I feel like there almost needs to be a whole new listing for Bing's where we can wipe the slate clean (of some very questionable reviews - when is the honey
I had a work break again and of course was looking for somewhere quick, even though I wasn't felling the Chinese food.
I really like this place, it's well priced, always seems to have customers, the food usually comes out reasonably fast and the beer is cheap at $5.00 for a Corona. They have a great selection of dumplings, 12 for around $11.00 on averageMy only issue is their inability to be flexible. As I was eating alone I asked if I could mix the dumplings up, which they said yes for a 50 cent surcharge. No issue with that, annoying but hey, it's still cheap. So I tried to order three each, of four styles but unfortunately you can only have two styles. I asked why but they could t say. Overall I'd still rate it as good but with so many good dumplings places and Asian restaurants in general around they should be a touch more customer focused. FYI: I did tell the waitress I would review giving feedback on their inability to be flexible but she just looked at me blankly. I don't think they really care as they're too busy to worry about it - lucky them.
Spent the morning wandering around Adelaide ended up in China Town. Called in at Bings for some lunch. Staff are super friendly and service was great. had the Seafood and Northern Style Dumplings, both were terrific. I would certainly recommend if you are in China Town or visiting the Central Market, pop into Bings Chinese Restuarant for a quick, fresh and very tasty bite to eat.
