Ayers House - Adelaide

We had our Elopement ceremony yesterday at Ayers House and the property is beautiful, ideally located and very well managed. We had to find our wedding with only 2 days and Richard was friendly enough to get us in the library room short...notice. It's a special building and we were happy that the registry office canceled our wedding so we could get married at Ayers House.

Christmas Day 2020 in Wintergarten The entree was a series of 5 small portions of seafood enjoyed by seafood lovers, but as there was no choice of seafood, it was not great for the non-sea food enthusiasts. The main meal was a disappointment. The turkey was a little dry and accompanied by minimal vegetables. One party had the king fish and described it as bland and tasteless. The parts were small. The desert was better with small portions of a variety of delicious traditional deserts. There was a very limited selection of soft drinks lemonade, soda water, coke, lemon squash. The beer and the choice of wine were reasonable. The value was not there for a special occasion. I can't recommend it for a Christmas dinner.

We enjoyed cocktails before the movies. Wonderful selection and attentive staff. The surroundings were elegant and well maintained. A beautiful walk in the gardens before worth the experience. The hotel is located in the centre of the city.

Great place and impossible to mistake food or service. Menu with the most important dessert options that were all spectacular.

As a tour operator (Teague Tours) I recently arranged a High Tea luncheon at Ayers House for 54 guests. The luncheon was outstanding and I cannot recommend the venue highly enough. Superbly staffed by three quality staff members (Mel, Libby and Christopher) made hosting the...event a pleasure.
