Bidrage med feedbackIt's okay overall but I don't like their hasbrowns. They are soggy with oil. The waffle is flavorless on its own so I recommend toppings and lots of syrup if you do eat here. Personally, I'd rather eat at the Waffle House right down the road forbreakfast.
Service wasn't great. Lots of mistakes on our order. They gave us the wrong check which we paid because we didn't notice. When we did we went back and told them since our actual check would have been higher. They made us pay both checks or they saidthey'd call the cops!!! We paid the other and they claimed they issued a refund for the first one. Said it would be back on thedebit account within 72 hours. 3 weeks later we are still waiting. When we called they said up to 10 business days from when itwas refunded...this is crazy!!!
We arrived late from Florida and were camping in the area, so we looked for a place to eat. Upon entering, the cook glared at us and snapped that it would take over 30 minutes for our food to be ready. The tables were dirty, and there were only four other customers in the diner at that time. Despite this, we decided to give it a try. After placing our order, we found out there was no mustard for the hamburger and no syrup for the waffle. The waitress apologized, but the cook made his displeasure known by muttering under his breath and displaying a bad attitude for everyone to see. I would recommend heading to the Waffle House down the street instead; we went there the following day and it was fantastic.
Excellent service, a fantastic place to relax, and delicious food, even if you're in a hurry. Plus, the gas prices are still very affordable.
I initially felt disappointed because I have to follow a gluten-free diet due to an allergy, and our server seemed unfamiliar with this. Unfortunately, there was no manager or supervisor available to assist. After briefly looking at the menu, my husband and I decided to leave. However, as we were exiting, the cook, Carl (thank you, Carl!), happened to be outside and asked why we hadn't ordered. He took the initiative and assured us he could accommodate my needs. Carl listened carefully, brought us back inside, and checked in on us several times to ensure we were satisfied. And oh my goodness! I couldn't help but do a happy food dance!
