Zion Thai - Accra

I’m not a foody, neither am I one of those taste experts. Nope, I’m a functional eater, so when I find something that is interesting and shocks the simplicity of my taste buds, I feel I have to recommend it to people who are out there just like me. In addition to that, I respect hard work and people who try hard to provide good customer service. I like this place, really do. Considering I already explained my short falls when it comes to food details, the little I can say about the food is: I can eat their fried rice with minced chicken and beef, pineapples and cashew nuts every time I go there. I like it. I like their setup as well, and the fact that they’re sharing their food culture here.

I always make sure I visit Zion Thai. The service and food are both excellent. If your in the mode for Thai food don't pass on Zion. Highly recommend.

I was not impressed at all with the food. My friend and I ordered 5 different dishes, from appetizers to main dishes and we were very disappointed. Their drink, love from Thailand, vanilla mixed with pineapple, was a weird combination and not pleasant. I ordered another drink, this time around fresh pineapple juice, and it ended up being water mixed with a little pineapple. I think I safely cross Zion off my list of restaurants

Update: I returned with my brother-in-law, who was visiting, and the food was just as amazing. We ordered the papaya salad again (it's really that good), as well as green curry and pad Thai (also just as delicious). We were again the only ones on the balcony and had the same waitress as before. The food came out quickly, and the service was great. I appreciated that the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance without loud music, although the speaker store across the street cranked up the volume to the point where you could feel it. While that's not the restaurant's fault, it seems typical for Ghana. After my second visit, I wholeheartedly recommend it just as much as I did after my first.

I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant! It was my first time trying Boba tea, and I absolutely loved it. The ambiance was enjoyable, the customer service was excellent, and the owner was really friendly.
