Ushna مطعم اوشنا - Abu Dhabi

I first order online from ushna as I have received package I expected to eat best because I heard from around over ushna, but when I opened the package, I was amazed by the packaging and the huh tasted delicious, crispy outside juicy inside and tasty when it turns around she sent different sorts she filled soul

We popped into this local favourite and although we haven’t visited for a while it never disappoints. The staff were friendly and attentive, special mention to Hamam who couldn’t do enough for us. We had the sharing starter platter which was amazing. Fresh and tasty, I particularly liked the chat. We then shared the mains platter. Again lovely flavours and great to try a bit of everything. The restaurant was quiet and the Souq itself is struggling with visitor numbers as the choice in Abu Dhabi is now huge. It would be a real shame if this Local institution followed the meat company and closed so please visit. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a very nice family dinner, outdoors with with breathtaking views over the Grand Mosque and the Shangri-La area. Food was perfect, good portions and great flavors. Staff was amazing, so friendly, making plenty of balloons for the kids and keeping the entire family happy. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely evening at Ushna! It was my first time here and everything was perfect from the hospitality of staffs to the food . A very classy ambiance having outdoor seating as well with a beautiful view. What I ordered: 1) Tandoori platter- consisted of chicken,fish, prawns and lambchops . All was cooked well and delicious. 2) Garlic naan and Butter chicken- creamy butter chicken thats more on the sweeter note. 3)Tiger prawns- well marinated . Our dessert was also specially made for us by the restaurant and we enjoyed it thoroughly!

Ambience is chic and classy. There is not much of a crowd. Perfect for a queit lunch. Tried the chicken biriyani and mixed kebab platter. The biriyani was not very flavourful. Should have had more masala. A very small portion if raita comes with the biriyani and no Achar or papaad. The kebab platter was delicious with tender meat and very well seasoned. The mojito was good. Value for money- not much as there as places with much better food at lesser prices.
