Fischbachstub'n - Abtenau

Very close to apartments. Good honest food served by an English speaking waitress who was smiley and helpful.

We visited after driving past a number of times and being intrigued by their sign offering (loose translation from german) "The best steaks"....We got a warm greeting from the waitress and quickly got our menus. Everything is in German so best have a phrasebook to hand if you want to be sure what you are ordering although it turned out the waitress spoke better English than our German (and was happy to do so)!We ordered two children's meals and two steaks. The children ate all of theirs with no encouragement needed (which is very rare!) and as for the steaks - just look at the pictures. They were served on hot stone platters so could be finished as you like your steak and were very, very good.Three of us had deserts (also finished off easily....) and along with drinks the bill was just over €100.A great place to eat and certainly one we would /will go to again.

Definitely worth a visit. Really really good food and super friendly waitress. Very cozy inside and there's also seating outside. This place is always packed. They also have theme weeks, e.g. Mexican weeks or chicken weeks. We keep coming back.

A great feed and great beer with Erwald and Anita. Very friendly atmosphere bringing back memories of youthful upbringing in the Alps. A visit to this pub and restaurant on the outskirts of Abtenau will make you very happy. Bill.
