Smithville Inn - ABSECON

A quaint and cozy restaurant within a beautiful and historic shopping area. Waitstaff service was friendly and attentive (though the manager was throwing a bit of a temper tantrum when we arrived. Frankly rude to a customer asking a question). Soup was room temperature but flavorful. Entree portions were huge and tasty. I just didn't like the feeling we were a hindrance for making a late reservation, which the manager definitely did.

Wonderful experience! I'm from the area and have not been here in a long time. Our waiter Mike was fun and knowledgeable. Always had a smart quip about something going on at our table.

Lovely group dinner here for a corporate retreat. i had chicken and it was really good. they didn?t cook my husbands steak enough and he had to send it back twice, as did a few other people in our group. the lady that took care of our room was really sweet tho. cheesecake was a bit disappointing, but my french 75 was delicious.

A great place to visit. should be in a Hallmark movie!

My experience at smithville inn was excellent overall. the atmosphere is beautiful, eating was excellent along with the service. I would recommend it to my family and friends.
