Bidrage med feedbackHad my wife’s birthday dinner and the staff was amazingly accommodating throughout the entire experience. They assured me everything would be amazing, and it certainly was, even as the headcount kept growing. Our server was fantastic, and all of the food was wonderful. Amazing vibe, of course. It was our first time but not our last—what an amazing little gem in Fort Wayne.Thank you so much!
Went here with a party of 7 including myself for savor Fort Wayne to wish a friend a goodbye. We were first seated at a very small table meant for no more than 4 people. We requested to move and we’re sluggishly moved to something slightly larger. After what seemed like 10 minutes we finally ordered drinks. Our drink order took an additional 10 minutes for 1 round of simple cocktails. We of course immediately ordered at the arrival of our drinks. We then waited 20 minutes for our appetizers, which were literally just salads. What ensued next was another hour of waiting (no exaggeration). Out waitress did apologize for the slow meal prep as chicken and steak should not be this long. Fed up we decided to give them no more than 5 minutes to bring out something, shocker they did not. 2 hours were wasted waiting on a simple dinner (mind you we also had reservations as well). I expected much better for Birdies ESPECIALLY since Barbara Bradley Baekgaard herself was there that night too.I will not return to this restaurant nor recommend it. I appreciated our drinks and apps being covered but it does not make up for the horrible service. We went to Henry’s bar down the street and had our food in 15 minutes
Beautiful love this hotel and the rooftop bar is great! The coffee shop and bar downstairs are beautiful! Don't miss this place while in Fort Wayne!
Went to Birdies with some colleagues. I had three Cosmos with Titos vodka and was charge a substantial 'premium drink ' charge which was in addition to the inflated cost of the drink. I didn 't ask about the charge as I didn 't look carefully at the bill before leaving, only noticing it after returning home. I dine at restaurants that are higher end and I have never been charged a fee like this. It 's disgraceful. I will say the location was great and we enjoyed the open air atmosphere. I was also turned off by the clientele who were a lot of hipsters..20 or 30 somethings that were trying to be cool but were missing the mark. Anyway, if you find yourself at Birdies be sure to ask about the extra drink fees so you don 't get swindled like me.
I give Birdie's a 5/5 for the atmosphere. It's great to have a bar in Fort Wayne that feels so refreshing and ritzy with open air seating and great views of the city. Now, the drinks were priced higher than what they're worth. My drink tasted very watered down, and only the first couple of sips had any real flavor. The food was very disappointing and underwhelming. The presentation was good, but the taste was not worth the price. Among the dishes we ordered, we tried the misomango doughnuts and regretted it. The description on the menu sounded great, but the flavors clashed so badly. Birdies is the type of bar I would bring out-of-town guests to showcase a nicer bar scene of Fort Wayne, maybe just for a drink and definitely not the food.
