You want a real fast burger when you're traveling along the interstate? Drive into pals sudden Service. Drive up the first window and tell her what you want circle the building and grab it and growl. Hamburgers are good and the french fries are really good. Easy in and out.

Pal 's Sudden Service is a small regional chain that churns out ok products with good speed in a drive-thru only setup. If you 're looking for an awesome, juicy, flavorful burger or tasty hotdog, go elsewhere because Pal 's is not your place. But if you find yourself near one of their locations and in need of a super quick generic burger/hotdog/fries kinda quick bite, then you might consider checking them out. I watched in amazement while consuming my order as vehicleafter vehicle pulled onto the lot, proceeded to circle the building ordering at the 1st window on one side, then circling to the other side of the building and picking up their order and then either pulling over to a small number of parkingspaces (like me), or exiting the lot. They churned out order after order after order, but then they only offer a very limited menu. The taste of the Double Big Pal 's burger and hotdog that I ordered reminded me of the cafeteria food that Ihad years ago in school. It 's edible, but nothing to write home about or brag to your friends about where you had lunch. The french fries were an unexpected surprise though. They were hot and properly seasoned AND the sole reason for the 2star rating. Sorry, but it 's a 'one done ' kinda place for me.

Today was my first time going to Pal?s in Abingdon, VA. This place is nothing short of amazing! The burger was fantastic and the fries were so flavorful! Though the food was awesome, what was more awesome was the service! The line was wrapped around the building but we were out in about 5 minutes! If it were Mcdonald?s, we would still be in line for 20 more minutes. Super speedy service and yummy food! This place deserves 5 stars.

Amazing! Fast and happy service with great food. Hot and fresh. Best FF burger in a long time! Dairy allergy friendly if you ask.

First time going to pals, got 2 regular drinks(which were really larges), a hamburg, hot dog, and a ide of fries. 9 bucks. Couldn't believe it was that cheap. Everything was good. Couldn't complain about anything. Service was great too, in and out in 3 mins.
