Bidrage med feedbackAlthough I've ordered from here many times over the past years, I rarely ever get pizza. What I do get is their delicious chicken wings for 60¢ Wing Wednesday. They do it better than most folks in town. The wings are huge! They have a HUGE selection of flavors. Mango Habanero is my favorite! Always satisfied to come here.
The staff was friendly the restaurant looks to be trendy and they were super fast with our order. I wouldn't say it was the best tasting pizza but it looks like a fun place to hang out with your friends. The chicken wings on the other hand very different then what I was expecting and I definitely won't order those again. Batter was something I've never seen with wings. Pizza, well I've had better flavor. Overall I won't go back but I do recommend this place if you like the pizza, beer and a group of friends. They had big enough tables to fit 20.
Lacking, yet has potential. My oldest son, 11, Hey, dad. This pizza is tough and chewy, but it tastes good. Called in an order (large/thin crust, 2 topping pizza, 12 piece boneless wings and cheesecake pics attached) for pick up, at 6:50, left the restaurant at 7:45, in part, due to my youngest son, 6, and I taking advantage of the family friendly ammenties...but mostly due to the wait time. The person who took the order was extremely friendly, helpful (explained menu items I asked about) and knowledgeable. I originally ordered a couple of extra items (Philly sub and Loaded tater tots), yet, Items to make those weren 't on the delivery truck this week. Completely understandable, this isn 't uncommon with local establishments...supply/demand, cost effectiveness, food management. One of the reasons I 'll give them another try, because the descriptions alone seem tantilizing. Upside, tasty and grilled flavor..pizza and wings, not the cheesecake, obviously. The flavor profile was that of a wok, on high heat, with minimal oil. Definitely a different (good) flavor than the box shops (i.e. dom 's, john 's and the hut). Portion sizes were increasingly more as well. The boneless chicken didn 't have the chewy parts, like that of the hut, yet the texture was more of store bought and baked. The sauce flavors (mango habanero and afterburner buffalo) were outstanding. Haven 't found any, locally, that compare...not even the wing shops. The pizza was lacking tremendously. I ordered the happy hour special, large 2 topping. My sons like thin crust and pepperoni, so when I saw that one of their specialties was called Pepperoni Paradise, I was expecting a double pepperoni to be semi par...not so much. As you can see from the pics, budget cuts seemed to be occuring or there was a shortage of pepperoni on this week 's delivery truck as well. The service, from everyone we came in contact with, was superb and friendly. So much so, the cashier was attentive to the card I paid with and offered a discount, without asking, and gave a free drink cup to my son. Pros: Not the average menu/flavor profile, tasty wing sauces, ice cold draft beer, extremely family friendly, games/TV to pass the time, superbly friendly service, mass portions, all you can eat option, and happy hour specials. Cons: Extreme wait time, store bought boneless wings, tough chewy pizza.
I would love to give this a 5 star review because typically we have never had any issues. However, yesterday we ordered for delivery at 6:30 pm and did not get our pizza and wings until 10pm. When it arrived it was cold. I am thinking they are short staffed and this is a one time occurrence.
So...this pizza is mediocre at best, the customer service is much the same. We ordered from Black Box for the first time tonight, and it was okay. I think the person taking my order was new, because I had to “hold on” and repeat myself at least 5 or 6 times. Which wasn’t that big of a deal, but the wait time for our pizza was an hour/hour and a half. When the pizza showed up, it had crumpled in the box so two slices were completely bent in half, And they forgot our sauces. Again, this isn’t a terribly big deal, but it didn’t make the experience any better. The pizza itself was dry as heck. I actually lifted the cheese up to verify that their was even sauce on the crust. We paid $42 (tip included) but...honestly...we should have just picked up Little Caesar’s. Their pizza would have been $20 cheaper AND it tastes better.
